I?ve read that the hemi only needs 12-15 degrees of time max because of the dual spark plugs and the higher temperature. Will tuning Ive noticed that at 15 degrees there?s not much torque! When I raise the spark I see more torque being produced. The most torque I?m seeing is 230lbs. I check spark retard and I?m getting up to 4 degrees retard around the low end at 18 degrees. I?m I added more fuel but my cold starts are bad and full of misfires. What part of tuning should I focus on to get the right f/a for a good cold start and still fuel on loads and get more of the torque that?s left on the table? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
