Either gpedit and block or set your internet connection to metered so windows won't download updates. Or stop wuauserv if you really don't want them.

Just use Windows Update MiniTool to block automatic update.

I uninstalled the windows update and it fixed the editor display issue, but now I'm having issues of histograms not populating in the scanner. Anyone have this issue or a fix?

Hi Bill: Any update on when you expect a fix to be in place? I don't want to permanently stop updates from Windows. Thanks.

Rolling back the Windows update fixed my Editor but broke my view for this site. LOL

On the Advanced options screen of the update section of mine in the lower left corner there is a Pause Updates section. I pushed it out as far as it would let me.
Now I'm going to uninstall that update and see what happens.

New beta 4.11.549 up with the fix for this issue.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Grabbed beta 4.11.555 and it's working on two different machines both of which are running Windows 11 Pro with latest updates. Thanks for the quick update on this!

Is it safe to run a beta version or some risk to brick ?
i'm generally not a guy who use beta version software

I've been using mostly beta versions of HPT for over two years. I've had good results, very rarely get some quirkiness. Keep your updates so you can revert to an earlier version if needed.

It has nothing to do with our version of software. In fact the older versions of software will likely always have this issue, it was due to a recent windows update, not a software update on our end.

Heads up.. Seems to have started a issue with the template applicator. When you click apply changes the window freezes. I have already started a support ticket but might save someone else who uses this feature daily.
