    2000 Camaro LS1 to flexfuel

    Project:
2000 LS1 Camaro with manual transmission would like to get an flexfuel mod with sensor.
This car has some mods (intake, LTH, CAI) and it will remain an N/A engine no boost even consider but an camshaft swap someday perhaps.

    Software:
    P01 ecu with OS: 9381344

So after a lot of reading and sometime very confusing, i think i know what to do !

Simply do a full rewrite with :
    P01, ECM, GM Gen3 V8, 4.3L V6
    OS: 12216125

Is it so simple ? what about credits ? i'm a newbie in tuning so some help would be great !!!

    thanks

You got it man. That's it. You use two credits to read your pcm (on the vehicle). You'll use two credits to license the 2002 Tahoe File and write entire. You'll probably have to disable vats. I had to disable vats right after the write entire, to get it to fire up. I have a 2001 Silverado with a cam, long tubes, intake, and injectors. I downloaded the Tahoe file with OS number you posted, then transfered my tune table data over to the new file.

I'm not big on ls1tech, but this is a good write up for what you are wanting to accomplish.

I disable vats to be sure she start on first try… and she did it !!!
But i have ASR and airbag lights ON
How can i fix it ?

I try to compare my new OS to a 2002 Camaro OS and options are similar

You might send a message to James Short. He got it figured out. His user name on here is LSxpwrdZ.

I have a file I have not tried for the gauges on that OS. I generally swap everyone over to the P59 PCM to make everything work as intended.

Give this a try and see if it works. I just pulled your original from the first post so you may need to put your tune updates back in this one.

You won't see the differences that James made by using the compare file feature.

You can't see the changes I made in the compare file. There are many many parameters in these PCM's that aren't defined in HPT software. I simply copied the Class2 comms data from a 2002 Fbody into your file. I've not tried this yet so feedback is appreciated.

As a check if you flash a 2002 12212156 Fbody file into your PCM and your gauges still do not function you have something else broken that isn't tune related.

On a Fbody just the traction control retard wire needs moved. And source green connector covers or snip the gates off the red ones you have.

Get the ASR light off with the OEM tune/OS then go from there. If ASR goes off with the OEM tune then you can dig around the calibration, until then it could be an ABS sensor/wire F'd up.
