I try with stock OS and ASR is ok
So it?s must be the new OS the problem
I've been working on this for the last 2wks trying to find the problem with the comms. There is obviously a status bit or switch that specifies the channels and type of data transmitted over the Serial bus. Pretty sure the ASR is wigging out because there is no communication to the ASR and/or ABS module. SUV/Trucks must use a different protocol which is what is tripping it.

Not at this time. I'm going to keep poking at it because it's a challenge lol.

I will say I am confident it is simply a parameter dealing with the Class 2. Flashing it back and forth the ABS module gets a U1000 communication error on the flex OS. Which means there is a switch or parameter in the Class2 settings within the System segment that is causing this communication error. I would guess being a truck OS it's not looking for a traction control flag which is checked upon startup.

Nope we are in busy season now so it's going to be a while until I have free time to dabble in this again.

ASR is useless anyhow so call it a built in "feature" to automatically kill it on startup lol.

Buisness first !!! We will run Camaro without ASR. But for inspection we need ASR light off in France.

Any difference in doing this to an 01 Ws6?

Can I just do a Write Entire with an 02 Tahoe File, then paste back in all the pertinent data? (FBO/Cam/4000 Stall car that I've already 93 tuned)

    Small update:
Camaro run like a charm, cold start is great (4deg C).
Just ASC light on and no traction control.

Bumping this thread in hopes you might figure out a fix for the ASR in the near future. Also, do you have a link or the specifics on which wire gets moved, and where it moves to, when putting a P59 into an f-body?

Do you get the service vehicle light as well? Mine stays on when using this OS. My car is a 99 F-body.

I also lose Cruise Control when doing this.

    Sorry for the delay
The car run well, start good during cold weather, we make some adjustments to suits modifications of the engine (full perf exhaust, bigger injectors, ls6 intake)
    We removed EGR stuff.
Only problem is the ASR no longer working so light on dashboard (not good for inspection).
My buddy must try cruise control to confirm it’s working.

What software are you using to reveal OS details that HPTuners won't show us?
I don't have your skills, but I surely have the time to dig in and research.

I did the 12216125 OS swap on my 2001 Camaro, and getting alt term 'L' codes, as well as ABS/Airbag not being able to communicate. It'd be nice to have airbags in case of a wreck.

Try Universal Patcher (use google). You'd need a binary read before that (google pcmhammer).

I still always use HPtuners for actual tuning, because of Scanner functionality, as well options like 2 and 3 bar OS, though.
