GT350 exhaust valves gear and rpm dependent
Hello all,
I live in Switzerland and have a GT350 from 2017.
I need to be able to program the exhaust valves depending on gear and speed or rpm.
The goal is that the valves always stay closed in 3rd gear from 50km/h to 80km/h.
The valves must always stay closed in 3rd gear between 50km/h and 80km/h in any mode (normal/sport/track).
I need this setting so that I can legally homologate the stock exhaust system.
I know it sounds weird, stupid and funny, but so are the laws in Switzerland and also partly in the EU.
The exact reasons and laws to explain here, would probably be time consuming.
Before I buy such a device, I wanted to know if this is possible with the MPVI2.
I repeat: I need to be able to program the valve so that the valves always stay closed in 3rd gear between 50km/h and 80km/h.
This would of course be achievable if I could program the valve gear and rpm dependent.
Thanks for your help

Lived in CH for 11 years...you need to pass DTC I assume.
Unlike the +2018 has only LOAD tables for active exhaust, but you can set it to let's say "always close above LOAD 0,2" and this should help you.
Or you can set them to MANUAL override to stay closed all the time to just pass the damn test.

Hi veeefour,
Yes correct, I have to go to DTC in Vauffelin or FAKT GmbH in Sennwald.
Glad to see someone on this forum knows my pain.
Thanks for the info. I will take a closer look at your screenshot and reply back later.
Thanks for your help!

I do not know at all about software tuning and therefore my question:
On the screenshot I see the options for the Active Exhaust.
The pop-up shows the 1 gear. It says Load 1st Gear.
At below it shows a table with the RPMs.
What does the Load value mean?
How should I understand these values (e.g. 0.68)?
best regards
