GM 29lb/hr injectors for 0411 swap

I have found info on two gm injectors:

    12482704, 01-02 camaro, 28.7 lb/hr at 58 psi

    12561462, 01-04 vette, 29.2 at 58

My application is a rebuilt and hopped up L29 gen 6 454 getting the 0411 ecm swap. My questions are, which has the most tuning info available, and will either one be better for my 454/0411 app?

Either injector would have all the data available if you looked at a stock file with those injectors.

Consider this though, the 8.1 engine from GM runs 31lb/hr injectors. If your engine is going to making similar power or more power than a stock 8.1 I would get something this size or slightly larger. The next best option is usually the 33lb/hr flex fuel injectors from a suburban/tahoe 5.3 truck with FF. The newer injectors may need injector harness adapters but those are easy to get.

Great, thanks! Do you have a preffered source, or just hit ebay?

Junkyard and probably ebay. Verify the parts before buying.

Not fake. At least the ones I bought from that same listing a year ago weren't.

I believe they are 50lb/hr. Those will require injector harness adapters because those are much newer injectors.

Also they are from a GEN 4 LS engine so a spreadsheet it needed to make the injector data work because of the two different generations of computers. The data can be plugged into this and it should spit it out in the way you need it. Just find a tune with the right information.

I found this under the same part number,

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/11298459413...MAAOSwymBhOVt9

It says 42.0 lb/hr at 43.5 psi, E85 compatible. Is that too much? How much fuel is needed for 400 hp, 450 hp?

Increase the pressure to 58psi and they are 50lb/hr. That is just fine for flow rate if you wanted to run those.

You'd only need low to mid 30's to support 400-450hp on a NA engine, at that the duty cycle would be around 80-85% give or take.

This is confusing and maybe a lot of misleading ads on ebay. There is a 42lb 8.1 'marine' injector, under numbers 25348180-17113739-25176061. Some say 'oem' but made in china. Some say new, but then list the parts put in to refurbish them. sometimes they are $400-600 for a set, sometimes $60 each, and some claim to be all 8 for about $60. Wtf? Is it possible to get genuine new gm parts for $60 for 8 or not?

It took two hours to find this - apparently genuine new 8.1 marine, and apparently a normal price for genuine new at $520 for 8:

I would think there are new aftermarket bosch or something that would be better than oem for $500. I just don't get how there can be full sets of new oem for $60, as blindsquirrel posted above. Is it just going to cost more for new parts for 99-06 with the old harness plug?

It's just that one part number that's both genuine and also dirt cheap. I don't know exactly why (mysteries of the supply chain). And that one listing is the only one I can vouch for - I'm sure there are fakes claiming to be that number for even cheaper.

Ok how about these, 02-06 5.3l flex fuel, 36 lb/hr at 43.5psi, numbers 12580426 and 25326903. It's a common app so they are plentiful and cheap on ebay. And that era should mean the connectors still fit too?
