    2021 Explorer Interceptor 3.3

    I've taken my work vehicle a 2021 Explorer Interceptor with the N/A 3.3 to two different places and each say this vehicle or platform isn't supported yet One hooked up and tried to read the stock tune but we couldn't get it to pull the stock tune.

    Will this yr and model be available at some point? struggling out here lol.

    The 3.3 in the Police Interceptor is a hybrid powertrain setup. I know some aftermarket tuners don't support hybrids or EV's because they're more complex to tune.

    Yes and No. there is a 3.3 Hybrid but not all of the Interceptors are the hybrid. ours are all 3.3 Direct Injected.. as this is also an option for the fleet stuff as well. 3.3 hybrid's produced 318hp per Ford where as the 3.3 Direct Injected aka NA produced 285 hp.

    Ok! Good to know. HPtuners often doesn?t have parameters quite defined for the fringe applications. You?ll have to work with support to have it supported. My 2018 XLT Explorer with NA 3.5 needed a lot of parameters defined. I noticed the PIU 3.7 needs to have some unlocked as well.
