    help with shift points

    I am new to tuning but i am doing my own tune on my ram everything is going good except for wot shift point. i believe i have everything right but i must be missing something here is the tune and wot log.

    i was originally going for 6200 but dropped it to 6000 but still having problem.
    2006 ram 5.7 4x4
    90mm throttle body
    Comp thumper cam
    Mild port and polish on heads
    Full headers with off road y pipe 3? single exhaust
    8 speed out of 19 ram thanks to Sound German

    And that's what happens when you turn off all torque management.

    Also, exactly what engine RPM is 2016 output shaft rpm in that gear?

    6048 rpm in that gear. So you are saying I need to turn on tq management?

    Yes, removing all torque management is not good. You can calm it down, but don't remove it.

    I'm assuming you're trying to set the 1-2 shift with the shifter in D? Is the tow/overdrive light on?

    It takes time to complete a shift, so you have to target a lower rpm than your goal, especially in 1st gear and especially with lower gear ratios or more power.

    You also have to consider any torque converter slip and subtract that from your shift target. It's not unusual to see 200rpm slip at redline from converter that doesn't have a clutch applied.

    Ok so do I need to output shaft shifting to say 6300 if my wot is set at 6000? Is that where my problem is.

    And yes I am leaving it in drive. Also I pulled all tq management trying to figure out why at wot when I pass 3000 rpm the power comes on like I have boost

    yep i need help with shift scheduling i still cant seem to get it right.
