so anybody having any luck with this yet ? or does the scanner still lock up and basically renders tuning with this platform useless?

I scan with Linex or Snap-On , the use HP tuners to dial it in.
EEC-V and EEC-IV have diagnostic ports on the back where you can plug directly in to the ecu do REALTIME tuning use a moates quarterhorse and tunerpro.
Far superior than tuning over the obd-2 port.

last time I tried to purchase a quarter horse, they were out.
They were due to the chip shortage. All good for the past couple months now.

No luck here.
Logging is horrendous at best. Causes cluster to blank out when MPVI2 is plugged into OBD port and attempting to log.
Reads and Writes great! You just have to log with an SCT device/other method.....

commanded fuel is spk_lambse
there is no eq_ratio, lambda nor afr as those ecu's do not have widebands just narrowbands.
Here's a break down of the payloads.

You need to read the fuel write up before you attempt to tune a ford.

Just finished one, can hardly call this a "Supported vehicle" with un-usable datalogging and write fails/timeouts 50% of the time. Not saying you guys should run out and pour R&D into an old platform like EECV, just that it really shouldn't be listed as supported, or at least have an asterisk note next to it.
Just did an 03 cobra
When not at open loop the 2000 GT would show incorrectly commanded eq. Where the 2003 cobra was correct.
I experienced a 30% data log success rate and 90% successful write rate on both vehicles.
