Maverick RR 2017 connect issue

Hello guys,

Do I need a specific 6pin to OBD2 cable like HPTuners or can I make my own cable? Im asking because I tried to use a cable that I always use to write ECUs outside vehicle but with OBD protocol, connected CAN Hi / CAN Lo / 12+ / GND / KLine, downloaded the beta software, but VCM cant connect to the car.

The ECU seems to be stock.

Any tips ?

You'll need their cable.
Also, there's no RR in 2017 X3.
