Ford update broke MPVI for Raptor?

Ford just did a PCM reflash as part of the cam phaser replacement, and I got codes pop back up that I had disabled before. Now when I go to read/edit/write my truck (2017 Raptor), it says I need an MPVI2 to edit the file...? So my MPVI is useless, now...?

So they made the MPVI obsolete? Just because? That's pretty shitty... Maybe I'll just get an access port instead.

I'm confused... I thought you have needed the MPVI2 since day 1 for the newer Ford stuff?

I don't think so. I have quite a few Ford files up to 2018 that don't ask for the MVPI2 when you open them.

Nope. I used an MPVI to tune both of my Ford vehicles. Last time I used it was on my Focus RS in the last year.
