Hello everybody - I have 2 customers with very similar trucks. One is a 2008 Dodge Dakota and the other a 2010 Dodge Dakota, both with 545RFEs.
Both want 5th gear locked out when in Tow/Haul so I've set 4-5 and 5-4 to "0" rpm across the table which still allowed shifting into 5th gear.
Then I've set 4-5 and 5-4 to "8000" rpm (well above rev limits) and still allowed shifting in 5th gear. But it's worse since it won't downshift from 5-4 when it goes into 5th. I would have to go back into Normal mode (pressing "Tow/Haul" button off) to shift out of 5th and into a lower gear.
What am I missing here? How do I go about locking out 5th gear in Tow/Haul???
