went to tune a newer mustang today, car ran terribly before attempting tuning. Showing 30-40 percent lean on short term fuel trims without the customers mass air flow sensor hooked up, and 63-67 percent lean with mass hooked up.
Vehicle has Aftermarket Headers, and a very large in diameter aftermarket Cold Air Intake on it.
Weird Issues,
1. Worked on calibrating the mass airflow sensor for the intake on the car,
- Doubled and tripled the air volume metered between 0-1.9 volts looking for change at idol of fuel trims. change was little to none still looking for 60-62 percent in short term fuel trims.
2. is the issue of not being able to log sensor voltage only frequency in channels. Voltage is used for airflow reference instead of frequency
If Anyone Has A Stock 2020Gt 5.0 Mustang i can use for a compare file it would be appreciated, it is possible the car has been previously tuned though most of the tune appears normal
