Questions about using a 0411 pcm on a supercharged non-ls engine

I have a Pontiac V8 I'm considering converting to MPFI and coil pack ignition. Some one on MaxPerformanceInc.com sells kits that use a 0411 pcm for easy install and this seems to be the best way to run a twin screw supercharger on an old engine. Leaving aside manifold fabrication which I can do myself, what are some recommended places to figure out how to go about putting something like that together? Like what sensors can be disregarded, since I don't need to meet emission requirements? I've searched a bit and read about MAF deletion and 2-bar MAPs, but I haven't read much on using an ls pcm on a non-ls engine.
