I have the GMPP 525hp crate engine with a 4L60e and had it in my 01 Camaro Z28 till it was wrecked. Now I'm transplanting into a new 4th gen Camaro and was wanting to go with a 6L80e behind it. I know that the TCM isn't part of the ECM like with the 411 PCM's and that they're separate entities. What is needed and what is the process for getting a 6L80 into a 4th gen and getting what solutions would you use to keep the stock cluster/gauges if there are any? I know I can piggy back certain things off the PCM to keep the gauges. Has anyone seen any type of comprehensive swap information for this because I haven't seen it and I've been looking for a while. I've seen where people say they're successful with the swap but no detailed information on what they actually did to achieve it.
