    Angry 6.0 Swap No Start Help Please!

    Swapped a 6.0 4l80E into 04 Canyon
    P01 ECM Running engine, fuel pump and trans only
    Summit Sloppy Stage 2 cam, Fast Lsx 102 Intake
    Fast BigMouth 102mm Throttle Body, cable driven
    Cold air Intake. Headers and Dual Exhaust
    522-838 Holley Injectors
    Entered Injector data
    STARTS AND RUNS FOR 1 SECOND!!!!!
    I'M STUMPED

    You need an IAT sensor, get that working.

    If the MAF is gone the MAF dtc's need to be set to MIL on first error.

    The log shows that the MAP sensor is not working, it's stuck at 10kpa. So it won't run if that is not working.


    That tune file says the injectors are still stock, the flow rate still says 25lb/hr and not the 83lb/hr that the injector part number you gave says.

    Cylinder volume is still set for a 4.8 engine size, you need to change that for a 6.0 engine size. You'll also need to segment swap for the 4L80e too.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    STILL STUMPED !!!!!!

    Made changes, started and ran for 1 second.
    Next attempt, a big "whoof" out of intake, no start
    Next attempt a big "CaBang" out of exhaust, no start
    Still not running.
    Still stumped!!!

    MAP sensor still not working.

    Not much to look at in that log, but I never saw the CMP do anything. If the PCM doesn't get a valid CMP signal it has to guess whether crank TDC is #1 compression or #1 exhaust and if it guesses wrong you get pop-bang-boom. If it guesses right (or keep cranking long enough) it switches strategy and then starts and runs normally.

    Try this
    You had the cylinder volume "AFU".. you had 2.xxx When it needs to be .7xxx

    Assuming your injector data is correct this file should start

    2L cylinder volume has you running a 16L, that's a lot of motor.

    If you turn the key to run and the scanner is still showing MAP at something godawful stupid like 35kpa, you don't even need to try cranking it cause it ain't going to run until you HAVE A WORKING MAP SENSOR.
