    ford ranger 3.2 sid 209 hard cut limiter

    hey i was wondering if its possible to add a hard cut limiter to this ecu.

    ive tried playing with injector cut ramp settings and smoke limit with no luck

    I'm not even going to ask why...
    I'd try Fuel Rail Pressure Max Setpoint. Change the 5050RPM setting to 4510 or whatever you want (axis values can be changed by clicking on the axis text most of the time) and zero out fuel pressure at RPM's above this. I imagine it will NOT be pleasant if you hit the hard cutout.

    Sweet thanks for your help. What if instead of using 0 I used a low number to try make it slightly softer ?

    You'll have to try that as you could end up with funny results with injector behaviour trying to meet the fuel demand with low pressure.

    Another option are the Torque Calculation tables below and need to change axis values on the Min table. In fact I'd probably go this way.

    As Ian has said, you are should be limiting it with the torque tables and not touching fuelling or pressure.

    Base Torque table 88235. Set anything above the RPM you want to 0 and see how it does.

    Tried this with no luck. I guess I'll have to change all the tables and try again
