Ecu or TCM not going into sleep mode

6.2 with 6l80e swap into square body. Has a high pitch sound coming from transmission . I think. Also drains battery after a day or so.

Of course you would want to make sure you don't have a battery power incorrectly wired to an ignition power but the BCM is the PMM (Power Mode Master) that is responsible for the shut down command. Not knowing your setup doesn't help me much on helping you.

You did not post much information regarding your LS conversion. You did not post your tune.

Using my crystal ball to assess historical events - it points to a likely issue with your conversion wiring harness.

The T43 TCM (6L80 / 6L90) will "squeal" under certain conditions. This typically occurs when the ignition voltage circuits to the T43 TCM remain powered, and communication with the ECM (E38 or E67 ?) is offline.
