hey guys can anyone let me know why my actual torque is dropping and timing getting pulled back ? car has upgraded pulley , bigger throttle body , ID1300X2 injectors.
does look like i am hitting map sensor limit ?
this is what is not clear to me as it is running good 98 octane and timing is not so aggressive to make it retard in such a way !!!, plus knock sensor voltage does not seem to spike !
i would drain and put in known good fuel (fresh from another supplier) better yet e85 (and measure it), new plugs (if you have white crust on a plug could be oil being burned in that cylinder) and retest..
i wouldn't change the knock threshold, my understanding is the pcm is looking for a particular range of frequency's
next take 5 degrees out between 1.5-2BAR below 3000 rpm
