looks pretty good, I suspect your wastegate may actually be a bit loose, have you done the bracket bend/tweak yet?

Use this new channel config to log after you have tweaked your wastegate

Haven't had a chance to go to my friend garage to do the wg yet, but I had a Q about the tune.

On a previous revision you had the Idle Torque Reserves set at lower values, and I remember you mentioning somewhere that this helped smoothen the idle. I was using the lower values previously, and I'm sure the idle was smoother.

Sorry, updated file was my production base (with background work) I don’t run that on my production files but I have all that stuff tweaked on my personal car, up to you if you want to tweak those again

Also the wastegate tweak can be done in like 20 seconds in the driveway on ramps, just bend the whole diaphragm towards the front of the car as far as you can without compromising the rods angle into the diaphragm

    Sounds good thanks Tyler.

I did bend it a bit last night from the top, similar to how I did the B7. It was just late and I didn't feel like messing with it anymore.

Still has "oscillation" but seems a bit better. Maybe a bit stronger. I'll load the new channel config and log tonight.

are you copy/pasting my changes into an existing file? it seems my background work is not active. you need to use my file and make any changes from that

Yea, If you just copy paste it then none of the UDP stuff will transfer over

    Ok thanks. That makes sense!

Managed a 3rd gear log. 4th wasn't an option lol

Nice, 3rd gear runs are preferred....

215G's and 18.5* timing, looks great just still dancing under the boost request

Tweak the gate a bit more because duty is already pretty high, similar conditions my car would be putting down 2.65bar from 2800-4k

Ok perfect I should have asked. Not sure why I assumed 4th lol

Sweet that's good to hear. I'll do it from the bottom in a day or 2 as I'll be doing the WP anyways.

    Thanks again.

Well with the help of a pry bar my wastegate has been massaged a bit more haha. Definitely holding boost better.

Wastegate rod is hard to move by hand now, and is tighter now... but I'd really like to slot the mounting screw holes and "Fine tune" the preload.

    Few logs attached below

The "6th and 8th" log I took as there was obvious oscillation in that area before, but seems a lot better. The "N,D,R" log was just to see what's happening at idle. I'd like to try to make the idle smoother in D/R

    Looks great!

    DylanC-Rev2.png

Still have a little bit more duty in it so here's 88% base, looks great all around. could probably add in some timing at peak torque but this will be good for if you need to run 91

    Cool thanks Tyler!

In the compare I see the rev 3 idle torque values are back to my original file values. Were the lower values that you had suggested previous causing a rougher idle?

I've been trying to figure out what you mean by 88% base. Are you referring to the idle changes?

I think I used the file you posted to make that rev? Can’t remember

88% base WGDC at full load request
