    Vvel and cam phasing

    Good morning !

Has anyone had luck in power with adjusting the VVEL and cam phasing ?

Do they coincide with each other like less cam
Phasing to get more Vvel ?

Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated just started changed Vvel
To 72 max but haven?t felt a difference

You will need a dyno to log any difference, and it is generally small, Nissan got it pretty right.
Lift and duration are tied together but position is semi independent with the limitation of of advancing the inlet valve into the piston.

I have seen about 25 ft/lbs down low by modifying the cam phasing on a 35HR. Gains up top were minimal. This was on an auto car with intake/exhaust.
