    2015 E92 Running a 6L80 in a Gen 4 Camaro

I have a 2015, L83--5.3 engine and 6L80 trans with complete engine/ trans harness and E92 computer. This is going to be a port injected setup with NO DI. I will be using a P59 computer ,2000 Camaro, to run the engine and accessories, but I would like to keep the 6L80. Can I use the E92 with some portion of the wiring to control the trans? Any ideas of what inputs that I would need to make this work? I know RPM and VSS, but what about all of the torque settings? I don't see any way to make the E92 run a port injector.

I see zero way for the E92 to work either, they both need to jive together to work in any sort of fashion.

Probably be best to find a standalone controller for the 6 speed.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I have a 2008 Jeep with a E38 running a LS3/6L80 and the Jeep computer running the accessories. Wonder if P59/E38 would work on the Camaro.
Stand alone for the trans should be cheaper---I will look for one.

I think that I would lean toward the E38 to run all of it. I am not sure if the tone ring on the crank is the same for Gen4 and Gen5 but if it is, it would be pretty easy to run the L83 with port injection via E38. To run the 6L80E via the E38, it would just need the TCM/valve body to match the era of E38.

I looked at the stand alone 6L80 controller and its over 900 bucks. I am thinking the E38 and harness is the way to go for this. It would make a much neater setup and easier to tune. The gen 5 ring is 58 like the gen 4. I'm glad you mentioned the TCM/valve body---forgot about that. I will check it. I have a later E38 in my Silverado so I can check the numbers on it to get the right one. I'm gonna need larger injectors.

I’m interested as well.. what’s your plan for the variable oil pressure control ? Or it’s ok just unplugged? And cam timing control is the same ? Or just deleting it?

@Lakegoat, what did you have to do to get the 6L80E to fit in your car?
