    2004 5.3 lm7 w/Muncie 4spd manual, tune ?

I put this combo together in my fathers 55 Chevy several years ago with a modified stock harness, DBW, setup. I installed mild cam/new valve springs last year. I?ve tinkered with the stock automatic tune file and runs ok, but my dad is tired of the idle characteristics on decel. I?ve read that it might be best to start w/4.8 w/ manual tune. I tried to download it from repository but appears I would need to upgrade my mpvi pro and software to do so. Is that the case or does anyone have a file that would support the older software that are willing to share? I don?t mind upgrading if I have to or possibly going the remote tune approach to get me back on track. Thx, Jason

I have the same setup but cable throttle. Mine seems to run and idle perfectly.

I didn't change the transmission to manual. Do you have a vss hooked up?

I don't have a vss but maybe with the dbw it needs a speed reference?

If it helps I can attach my tune.

Here is my tune, remember this is a cable throttle.
