E67 from 6cyl to be used on Studebaker LC9 swap licensing and process is unclear

    I have a e67 and transmission controller from a 2009 gmc canyon v6.

i have a LC9 from a truck, I did not get the ECU and tcm with the purchase.
I am using a modified trailblazer harness.

licensing with HP Tuners is more difficult that tuning IMO.

I already burned up two credits doing it the wrong way apparently, i followed the hp tuner recommendation that I needed to buy 2 licenses, i bought the licenses and then went to write the tune and it told me unlicensed vehicle with no options to license it...

I contact hp tuner support, but have no reply at all. very frustrating, so I am sitting here stuck and I don't want to burn my money with more lost licenses.

so here is what I was thinking....(mv2)
download a trailblazer 5.3 tune and changed the vin to match what was on the e67 from the canyon
buy two credits, write to the ECU

    any help would be appreciated

Read your ecm, license it, flash to ecm using the file you read as your base file. Very simple process typically.

If you are having an issue and have contacted support what is the ticket number so I can review it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
