    2014 Ram Whipple 2.9L ETC Errors Help.

    2014 RAM 1500 5.7L

    Just installed a Whipple 2.9L kit and cannot get it dyno tuned do to ETC service error over 3/4 throttle. Base tune has been established with updated injector data and it idles and drives fine up to 3/4 thrrotle. One you go wide open service ETC flashes on dash and goes into limp mode. Simply pull over turn off and turn truck back on and it will drive fine again.

    Has a barometric too low code but believe that is a diagnostic code voltage update to fix that from research here.

    Sometime on start it gets the ETC service code, but again just restart and it goes away.

    Any idea on what to look for. Tried replacing and relearn on throttle body but it didn't fix it.

    Any help greatly appreciated cannot finish getting the truck tuned till the issue is resolved.

    You should post the tune for better help.

    Ever try enabling sensed MAP and see what happens?

    In eng diag raise torque delta/fault to 966 across the board

    In eng diag airflow raise MAP delta hi/low to 250 BORO voltage min to 0.05

    eng diag p2172/2174 to 250 kpa

    Baro voltage 0,xx

    The Map should be correct. Check the o ring from map and watch out for leaks.

    The truck is still using stock throttle body.

    The vehicle has been dropped off at the tuner again maybe he can get it running. I will share the tips you guys gave with him as well to see if that will solve the issues.
