I'm looking for information on whats need to be able to run a 8hp90 in place of the 8hp70. I've already done the swap just need advise/knowledge on whats involved to get the tuning side done. I do have a tuner thats going to tackle this for me but I'm all for learning the ins and outs of this as well and don't expect my tuner to explain or divulge all his experience. I do see that hellraiser offers some type of service for this and curious on what is needed to be done.
Does the 70 and 90 have the same tune file capability or are there differences? Is it as simple as turning off some codes?? Again just looking for as much info as possible.
