2007 BF XR6 Turbo - OLD XCAL TUNED QUESTION

Hey everyone,

My partners XR6T was previously tuned ( 9yrs ago) with a SCT XCAL3 device, I have purchased a MPVI2 and I am wondering if HP tuners will read the current tune on the vehicle or if it will write the stock file? and if so can is there a way to start with the current tune file?

Technical yes it will read the file as the factory calibration, will it populate the data in HP editor possibly, it depends on the SCT calibrator who built the tune. if you have a Strategy i can check and see if i can access to it and if you still have the SCT device i can send you a stock file. i would need the device type and serial#.

Hi Cody, I don’t have The latest dongle but the earlier version which I have would read that file and would allow changes to the current tune once licensed so I don’t see why the one you have couldn’t do the same.
