    Question MAP sensor disabled...WHY?

    what would cause the MAP sensor to be disabled?
    2010 Navigator 5.4l
    im pretty sure no one has touched the stock tune. could something have made it disable its self? would it read disabled if it was damaged or not reading?

    its disabled because it doesn't exist

    it doesn't have a map sensor

    If you are unsure you can always buy some tools and re-flash your computer to the stock calibration using the Ford OEM flashing tools. Or have a shop flash it. Pull the new stock toon with HPT and compare before and after toons noting the differences. The computer cannot just disable something in the toon. If there are issues the computer can sense it may use a default value or limit the operating range for some things, but you will probably have a few DTCs by then. Start diagnosing there if so.
