    g8 flex fuel issue

Anyone run a flex fuel kit on a G8? I've done tons of flex fuel cars/trucks but I ran into an issue on this one. I pinned pin 40 on the black connector but I can't tell if it's reading right. My normal alcohol pid in my scanner doesn't read this ecm for some reason. So straight alcohol percentage does not show up. I've read some guys scan fuel composition sensor on these and that is reading 0hz. I turned the sensor on in the tune and if the sensor isn't connected or there is an issue you get a 40% alcohol rate and it effects the tune. I'm not getting any issues like that.

Yes, the sensor was enabled for sure. What dtc's need to be checked?

I found the dtc's and turned them on but I'm still not getting any readings from the scanner.

There's alcohol content and ethanol content pids. Some cars use one or the other, some use both.

I had both selected and nothing shows up. Also, when the sensor is turned on the commanded afr stays rock steady like it was still off.

If you're not getting "0" and getting no data it's not activated. Perhaps try write entire?

Does it throw any DTC's since you've enabled the Flex DTC's?

No dtc issues so far and the customer took the car for a couple weeks. He's coming back today so I'll see if anything else has popped up but when I had it there was no codes.
