    Bad Map Sensor?

Hello I have a 07 dodge caliber and i am having a problem with my map sensor reading over 155kpa and the car shuts down. It is the caliber srt4 map sensor. Mopar 5149056AA.

With my stock Mopar 5149056AB it goes up to only 105kpa but the car dose not shut off. The boost gauge read about 8-9 psi.

Any pointers on getting the Mopar 5149056AA to read above 155kpa?

Just a update. I dont know what happened. But I changed the clutch and got oem coil packs and now it is running and reading kpa fine!

It dose shut down after WOT sometimes though. I dont know why and idle surge after long drives.

is there a mismatch between the map and tip readings ?
suggest checking voltage from each with car on and not running .. i'd expect 1.65v not 2.08 (2.25bar)

Well it stopped shutting off as well now. I cleaned the TB as well now. So far so good.

The voltage is around 1.77 i think. I just wish i knew what fixed it.

    first rule…work clean.
I always take the time to clean parts and inspect it before I assemble it.
This extra time for cleaning gives the chance to think some things over….
