    4l80e segment swap looking for os 12606960

    You need to swap back to a non-FF OS to do the segment swap, a common 04 OS is 12587603 that's used in trucks and SUVs in both 60E and 80E configurations.

    So I need to segment swap the engine side then segment swap the trans side to match the new engine side?

    The whole entire file has to be changed if you choose to do it that way. The original operating system has to be changed to one that supports the 80e swap.

    Not something a segment swap can do. You'd do the segment swap once the OS was changed.

    Looks like I don?t have to deal with it for now. The guy is going to order a ecm with his harness from psi. Thanks anyways for all the help!!
