    VQ37VHR Idle Speed adjustment

    Greeting Nissan tuners,

I've been trying to lower my idle speed to around 700-750 RPM using the adjustments in the software. My car idles around 800-850 when warmed up. It seems within spec, but I can't get the idle to move up or down. Is there another way? Does the idle speed setting have any effect on VVEL engines? I'm curious if anyone else has tried and failed or succeeded with adjusting it. My car is a 2010 Infiniti G37, 7 speed auto, convertible.

Did you go through the idle relearn process after setting the lower idle speed? I'm fighting with this on an engine swap; the Nissan code will only automatically adjust idle up, but not down.

Doing the pedal dance to run idle relearn doesn't lower the idle for me. Maybe I have a vacuum leak or something else that's preventing it from working. My car is stock.
