Hello - I have a GMC truck 2007 new style. It was previously tuned with an HP tuner by a shop. If I purchased the HP tuner suite and downloaded the tune that is currently in the truck. Would I be allowed / able edit it and then put it back? I don't want to change everything but I do want to edit a couple of perimeters. or be able to revert back to it?
Yes, you can do that.
The only thing stopping that from happening would be if the shop tuner locked the computer, you'd know that straight away if you can't read/edit the file.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
