Wot timing e85

On a boosted hellcat with 14-15 pounds of boost on verified e85 is 21 degrees of timing in the 4000-5500 high torque area and 23 degrees of timing at 6000 plus rpm too much for the quarter mile?

I got advice from a local tuner. He said even with E85 his hellcat started going slower with anything more than 20 degrees of timing at the big end. He did no harm to the engine. But it started to go a little slower with 21 to 23 degrees of timing. No knock. But slower. Some think E85 burns slower. It actually burns faster than E10 or other race fuels. I will set it at 19 in the high torque areas and up top leave her at 20. A bit safer also.

Your local tuner is correct.
E85 burns quite fast, so use only as much timing as you need to make power.
Its easy to get sucked into running more as it doesn't knock much,
but more timing makes cylinder pressure at tdc really jump up.

HC+ lean them and slow the timing down seems to work best for our area.
