Personally I do not do that myself and would not recomeend it. I see it all the time though and it almost always causes issues. You need less timing when you are out of PE cruising along at stoich and more when you are in PE and have the added fuel. It is there for a reason. It also adjusts timing with the catalyst overheat protection or piston protection is active. I make my timing changes in the main spark tables. I do zero out the IAT and CTS manipulation at low temperatures that add additional timing.
