    mpvi2 (basic) wide band?

hey guys, ive been searching for the answer to this question but i havent seen a clear answer. I am new to hp tuners and tuning in general but i figured as a mechanic it would be a good skill to learn. I am teaching myself with the help of the hp tuners videos, goat rope garage videos, and looking on this forum but when i got my wide band i got the AEM 30-0300, i found out that without the pro-link and pro features on my mpvi that basically i cant set it up in the scanner and use it. so i have a 2010 camaro, i was wondering if i could use a wideband like the aem 30-0334 which plugs into the obd port which will use the can bus and not have to upgrade my mpvi just yet?

Yes, if you have a can vehicle, and a can wideband, you do not need to upgrade

Well... you do need to upgrade the firmware in the 30-0300 to the 30-0334 firmware, to connect to the OBD2 port.
