    OBD1 to OBD2 converter??

    anybody know of or make a translator device so that you can plug an OBD2 reader into an OBD1 port and read the basics and get and clear codes? or any combination of the stuff...

    mostly I want to be able to connect to my buddys car and log data so we can see what his car is doing...

    I know you can use a paper clip to make it flash the codes for you, but as for clearing them, you're SOL unless you got da toolz.

    So, back to using proper english, id like to know this too...google really doesnt turn anything up. Id assume itd have to have a pretty indepth programmed converter to convert the different streams and whatnot...but again, i dont have the slightest of how this stuff works, so ill quit talking now.
