I'm working on a 2016 GMC Denali with an aftermarket 4l60E. Per the trans shops instructions, I have changed the shifting parameters by using a file they have given to me. The trans works great and shifts as it should. My problem is the manual shift mode is no longer working. If I flash it back to the old setup it works without issue but doesn't shift properly. I have looked through the general section to ensure the TUTD settings match the old file to no resolve.
The dash will show the selection is in manual mode, but the gear which is selected has no effect on the trans. The VCM scanner still shows trans shift mode in "normal". I've added the new file, and the old working one to this message and was wondering if someone can show me what I'm missing.
But seriously, I think I'd be going back to the trans shop to let them know their recommended file doesn't work with the transmission they built, and asking what they plan to do about it.
