Hello All so first I,m newb tuner trying to help Nephew 2008 avalanche 5.3 to 2008 6.2 I,m concerned about throttle pedal compatibility I have copied tune from 2008 6.2 corvette from repository what should I be concerned with and if so what to do to solve issues. Have not written to vehicle yet. Thanks.
Why would you copy a corvette tune when they already made 6.2 Denali trucks?
Corvette calibrations are more aggressive and used different parts.
I wouldn't copy the entire tune either, just the main things you need. Like MAF/VVE data, idle airflow, timing tables. If the injectors are different, change that data.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
