    Built 4L60E shift pressure tables??

What's everyone's opinion/strategy of setting the shift pressure tables for a built trans? Obviously, I have pump and valve body mods that raise line pressure. And some places will tell you to leave the pressure tables stock. However, I look at it differently since the "shift pressure" table is really just a 0-96 "percent", so to speak, of using the available pressure the pump is making. Ive been told by some well known builders, they want full line pressure above 320-360 ft lbs of torque. Currently, Im just using the stock "performance" table copied into the "normal" table, and left the pressure modifiers alone. It shifts pretty good, but isnt overly aggressive by any means. Ive noticed on the 1-2 wot shift, my PCS amperage drops to 0.1A like it should for full line pressure, but 2-3 shift only goes down to 0.5-0.3A. Going by the logic of wanting full line pressure under a wot shift with 300+ foot pounds of torque, why wouldnt we just set our shift pressure table to 90-96 from 320-360 ft lbs and up, and taper it down in the lower torque cells?

Get a pressure gauge and hook it up to the pressure port. i use a 400 psi gauge on all the built transmissions ive tuned. it helps way better than just guessing.

I?ve had one on it on the test drive after the build. Just forgot to write down what psi = what pcs amperage 🤦🏻*♂️
