You're commanding that shift. Use these values in the bottom rows of your Sport shift map.

    6778 shift.jpg

thatwhite5.0 is right you are commanding around a 6800RPM shift 4th to 5th.
I would keep rows 13 and 14 the same values as thatwhite5.0 also shows. It just makes the small adjustments per gear you may need to make to get it to WOT shift at the exact RPM you want it to.

Well shift schedule is not used at WOT...adjusting it to 9000 rpm wont change a thing. Not a good advice.

You are short shifting because you still have some limiters to take care...

He has his WOT shift map at 7800, and the base shift map is set to 6778, maybe a little higher or lower depending on physical TCC slip/ anticipaction timing. Its going to use the one thats significantly lower.. the one to command the shift first.

Nice that you can use a very general "limiters to take care" statement and play it off like its helpful to anyone tho. Just stick to your usual base tune peddling.

TC limit in 4th is 127.50 ,this is where the forced upshift is occurring

I respect your opinion but you were wrong at the end of the day...nothing to do with shift schedule as its being ignored in WOT state.

TC is forcing the upshift. A few things can do that: TC, accel rate, torque, abuse, truncation...you can leave schedule stock and
still have nice crisp 8000 rpm shifts. My tunes have no problem with that and I rarely adjust shift schedules.

The log indicates the vehicle speed to be a slow rise fom 117- 130MPH when the 4-5 shift happens. if 127.5 was the limit I would expect the TC to shift before it got to that. Its a very performance conservative, with an exaggerated responce, system to kill wheel spin. Instead RPM is at ~6750 which is the value in the shift schedule table.

    Good luck selling your tunes.

I sell few tunes a month no worries here

No go and modify a schedule to verify that you are wrong. You only talk, no fast projects cars ever made by you...
