    losing timing

I got this thing from a friend and it's not quite right. While doing pulls it feels really sluggish but if you ease off the accelerator it really starts to scoot.I will be pulling plugs tomorrow and inspect the intake and gaskets.
any advice on where to start?

Stock, modded, what are you working with??

Add knock retard, burst knock and injector information to the logs as well. If it's a modded engine you need a wideband oxygen sensor for tuning.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
