Gen3 engine swap MDS to non MDS

I'm doing a motor swap on my 2011 Chrysler 300C 5.7 awd with MDS due to lifter failure and the replacement motor i purchased is a new 2022 non MDS 5.7 from Mopar. Looking at the engines side by side I'm going to have to swap oil pans, throttle body and a couple sensors; my major concern is deactivation of MDS on the ECM. I have a MPVI2 and can simply disable MDS... Is it really that simple without throwing other DTCs? Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

I got the engine in the car and firing it up tomorrow night with MDS disabled on the ecm. I'll let you know what it does

Should be that simple...... might have to clear some DTCs in the computer
