2006 mustang gt idle speed control mode

Any ideas why the idle speed control mode would go to "lockout" my rpm hangs when it does this.

First off what did you change? if nothing the IAC may be dity. Does the car have a custom tune on it?

Only changed the tune. It's my understanding these do not have a IAC. It's all through the throttle body.

built into the throttle body, to control idle, I assume you mean that the Idle hangs or drops to fast? you would adjust the Idle Decay rate. It it just raising the or lowering base idle use he Idle p/n & idle in gear.

Works normally 98% of the time. Base idle tables are fine. I may look into the decay rate.
