    6L90 CTS-V 5th gear limit??? want to disable so badly.

    Hey folks,

    I have 2013 CTS-V and this car has special feature.
    Which is speed limiting via gear....!!!

    When i go fast, 6th gear, maybe 140mph
    ECM force downshifting to 5th and i can only get 190mph top, limited.

    And some tuned F82's passing me....Really annoying.

    So i'm now searching for that for like 2 days with VCM editor,
    didn't catch anything....

    Is there anybody know how to get rid of it???

    No info anywhere on how to get rid of it. Its in the OS and HP have not exposed that part of the tune to us. You could raise a support ticket but I fear that you will get a negative response as t43 development has probably reached legacy status from their point of view. Good luck.
