playing around with my tranny tune and looked at the tranny fluid temp and it seems pretty high. the temp was reading 196* wasnt beating on it but it was a hot day but the engine temp was 208 so what is a safe temp range for these trannys?

How long under what driving conditions.
196 is not a problem, 180 is good.
Cut the tranny oil line and put an aftermarket cooler in it.
actually its very high, good reliable temp is 140-160
