    Differences between Normal, Pattern A and B on 2014 6L80?

    forgive me if Ive asked a question thats already been asked. couldnt find it anywhere. but can someone explain the differences between the three shift adapts? thanks!

    I think it just uses those patterns depending on the request. Like normal drive will use the normal table and some trucks will says Tow/Haul uses Pattern A.

    There is a tab in the transmission section that tells you what your truck uses. I've never had to really change anything on the pattern A or B to make it do what I want.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    Log the Trans shift mode, it should tell you what pattern is used, move the shifter to sport, normal and you should see it change to whatever is pattern.
