Purchased Vehicle already flashed with HPTuners

I recently purchased a vehicle (2002 Trans Am) where the previous owner had made some adjustments for CEL and traction control from what he could remember. He said he did this back in 2008. He no longer had the laptop he used, or the cable. If I purchase a MPVI2+ (when they are back in stock) and credits, will I be able to make adjustment to the pcm, or return it to stock? He said he did it himself, and not by a tuner.

As long as he didnt lock it, shouldnt be an issue
