    8l90 tuning

Trans is clunking hard when I get back into throttle after deceleration. Like it is searching for what gear to grab. Sage 1 high lift cam with all the goodies. Any suggestions?

Lots or engine side dfco, torque model and especially idle tuning will fix the clunk. You can also kill tcc below 5th gear to help a lot too - that's if you have access to tune the trans side. Your torque model won't look like a normal torque model anymore either, so don't worry about that.

I appreciate the info. The speed shop that has done all the work for me also did the tuning. Someone recommended reaching out to you to get help and here you are. I will pass on the info you just said to the sped shop. All I know is the tune programmed now on the truck is not good for the areas of finesse. Wide open throttle is great, which I heard is easy to tune, but all the areas in between need some work. I?ve invested a bunch of money to come to this big letdown. Frustrating to say the least.
