Bootloader: Timed out

I am trying to read a 2011 Denali, 6.2 with E38 and T43. It reads the E38, then does the 15 second wait time, then starts reading, and a few seconds into the T43 read, times out. Tried 3 times. Truck battery is charged, computer is charged---?? Any ideas. Never had this happen before,

If you have a bench harness, plug directly into the trans connector and try to read it. This will at least point to whether or not it may be a wiring issue

Try pulling radio and radio amp fuses. Not usually a problem in that year/model but definitely is in others.

for reference bootloader errors are typically associated with battery or wiring related issues with the vehicle. The advice above is as good as it gets in this case.
